Courses
This course is tailored towards all staff members and non-emergency response staff and is designed to teach people what to do in the event of a fire and basic fire extinguisher use.
Objective:
On completion of the Basic First Aid course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the chemistry of fire and the fire triangle
- Identify fire hazards in the workplace
- Understand evacuation procedures
- Understand Fire Warden duties and fire lists

- Means of raisinhg an alarm
- Extinguisher and fire blanket use
- Action of hearing the fire alarm
